The new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Collection 26240 is a 41mm stainless steel self-winding chronograph powered by the in-house Calibre 4401 integrated movement. It features flyback chronograph functionality, hours/minutes/small seconds display, and a date complication. Its iconic octagonal bezel with eight hexagonal screws is paired with a "Grande Tapisserie" dial, showcasing striking dimensional depth. The integrated stainless steel bracelet continues the classic design of the original 1972 Royal Oak, blending sportiness with elegance.
The newly developed integrated movement employs a column wheel and vertical clutch mechanism, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour—identical to the original—with approximately 70 hours of power reserve and 50 meters of water resistance. AP combines haute horlogerie craftsmanship with avant-garde aesthetics, making it a benchmark for luxury sports watches. After multiple rounds of comparative testing, it has been perfectly replicated, achieving near-identical resemblance to the original.
